Many people are eligible to become members of GHCU and may not be aware of it. A “yes” to any of the questions below means you can join the cooperative and enjoy the diverse benefits of membership:
- Do you live in the state of Washington?
- Does your employer offer GHCU membership as a benefit?
- Is someone in your family already a member? (parent, child, spouse, sibling, etc.)

Joining GHCU is simple: these 3 steps will get you started:
- Fill out the application on our Apply page and mail it or bring it in to one of our branches. Or call our Virtual branch at 206-298-9394 or 800-562-5515.
- Provide identification
- Deposit a minimum of $50 into a GHCU savings account. These funds are your membership shares and make you a part-owner in the cooperative enterprise that is GHCU.

Employers, when you add membership to Group Health Credit Union to your benefits package, you add real value. In addition to the great products and services all our members get, employees of our Community Business Partners also enjoy:
- Free, lunchtime seminars on financial matters, delivered at your workplace
- Early notification of events, promotions, special deals
- The Business Partner-only newsletter, Smart Cents, delivered monthly
- Quick, easy account set-up at your own Benefits Fair
- Assistance for your employees to switch from their current financial institution
