Spread Some Holiday Cheer!
GHCU recently concluded its Holiday Card Art Competition, and we had a tough choice to make! Children aged 5-17 from all over Washington State sent us artwork on the theme "Scenes from the Pacific Northwest at Winter Holiday Time." We had to narrow the field to just six winners: three in the 5-11 age group and three in the 12-17 age group. After thoughtfully judging the many wonderful entries, we were finally able to choose our winners.

Congratulations to first place winners 5-year-old Bridget Cleary and 12-year-old Megan Davies! Our grand prize winners will each receive $100, and their artwork will be featured on our holiday cards. The cards will be available for purchase in all of our five branches, beginning November 10th. Limited quantities will also be available by mail, with an additional cost for postage. Cards are just $7 for a box of 10 cards and envelopes, and all money collected from the sale of the cards will be donated to the charities of the winners' choice: Ronald McDonald House and Treehouse for Kids.
